Satu makalah penelitian yang mengangkat topik pemprosesan isyarat lanjut menggunakan algoritma transformasi Continuous Wavelet Transformation (CWT) turunan Gaussian. Analisis CWT digunakan untuk membangun plot waktu-frekuensi dari suatu isyarat seismik. Plot CWT 2-D ini bisa digunakan untuk mendeteksi berbagai mode gelombang yang terekam dalam sensor geophone/accelerometer. Selanjutnya, menggunakan teknik penyaringan sederhana, isyarat seismik sintetik dalam dimunculkan semula melalui algoritma invers CWT turunan Gaussian tersebut.
